Dear Barbara,
Your cookbook just arrived and I have read it cover to cover. It’s wonderful. I’m so anxious to try so many of the recipes. It is very professionally presented with charming pictures and lovely narrative to go with it. It was fun to see a picture of Martina. She wasn’t even walking when we visited you.

All of my family is from Puglia so I do a lot of southern Italian cooking but now I will add many new dishes from Tuscany. Reading your book made me very anxious to return to your lovely countryside.

Hello Barbara
The cookbooks arrived yesterday and it brought back so many memories. I look forward to making some of the recipes and letting you know how they turned out. You have done a wonderful job on the book and the photos are great. Martina is just beautiful how grown up she looks. You and Marcello have reason to so proud.

I wish I could say when we’ll return but believe me we won’t wait to long. I can see us sitting with a glass of wine watching the sunset. I truly consider the Rosa dei Venti a home away from home.
